November 2023
🎉 Success at the qualifier in Dubai
Our 4-hand won first place again, and two dancers qualified in solo dances for the World Championships.

🇨🇦 World Championships in Canada
Our dancer Pavel Zuska earned an amazing 31st place in the world!
Our 4-hand placed a fantastic 11th in the world!

November 2022
🚀 Success at the European qualifier in Aix-en-Provence, France
Our 4-hand took first place, and for the first time in our history a dancer qualified in solo dances for the World Championships.

🇮🇹 First participation at Oireachtas
Oireachtas (the qualifier for the World Championships) in Milan was a great experience. Our 4-hand placed 2nd and Pavel achieved 12th in Senior Men.

Founding of TJ Academy of Irish Dance ☘️
We open classes for competitive Irish dance. Our dancers can compete worldwide.

August 2018
🎓 Earning the T.C.R.G. title in Ennis, Ireland
Our founder Tereza Macoszek Jindrová earns the T.C.R.G. teacher qualification.

All Irelands Fleadh in Drogheda 🇮🇪
We became the first Czech team to represent the Czech Republic in Irish set dancing.

October 2017
🇨🇿 Opening a class in Ceske Budejovice
On 13 October 2017 we opened our first classes in South Bohemia.

💚 St. Patrick’s Day dance social
Since 2016 we host a regular St. Patrick’s dance social.

🪩 Organizing the set dance weekend in Prague
In 2015 we take over Set Dance Weekend in Prague, inviting an Irish band and teachers ourselves for the first time.

January 2015
New Year set dance social ☃️
On 4 January 2015 we hosted our first set-only social with a live band.

July 2014
🍇 🏰 Partnering with DDM Prague 2
It started with a day camp, then expanded into regular classes, training weekends, and summer residential camps.

Merry Christmas Kopýtkování 🎄
Our first shared Christmas party where every class performed their own festive choreography.

🥂 Irish dance classes for seniors
Together with CTU we run Irish set dance classes for seniors.

August 2010
First performance ✨
Veselá Kopýtka performed for the first time at the final night of Bernard’s summer school.

October 2009
👩🎓 Irish dance as PE at CTU
After student requests we opened adult classes in January 2010. Our offer grew to soft shoes, step, and set dancing.

Founding of Sona Sól – Veselá kopýtka 🥳
We open our first children’s classes.
