This class is designed for seniors. We always adapt the pace to the group, so there is time to safely revisit the basics. We welcome individuals and couples, complete beginners, and anyone who wants to refresh social dances from Irish ceilis.
🟢 What is set dancing?
Social dances that combine the elegance of French quadrilles with the wild energy of Irish music. You can see these dances at Irish dance events in the Czech Republic and abroad. Dancers often add battering to the music — a kind of light step dancing in soft shoes rooted in Irish sean-nós.

- Basic steps for polka, reel, jig, hornpipe, and slide
